This books gives the reader a clear picture of the various reviews and reactions to The Book of Khaled since it was published in 1911 until today. Together with letters from the author and his colleagues, a collection of articles are published from American newspapers and magazines upon the publication of the first edition of the book. At a later stage, essays dealing with specific aspects of the book are depicted as samples of what was published in Lebanon and other countries. These were followed with more scholarly papers on the book during the last decade of the twentieth century and the first decade of the twenty first century. This collection of essays shows the way studies on The Book of Khalid were developed during the last twenty years and the increased interest in different parts of the world in the book and its themes.
