Ameen Rihani Organization
"... It was always such a pleasure to see Mr. Rihani and to read his books, that we shall miss him greatly. He had a delightfull original and independent point of view about so many things in life, that it was stimulating to be with him. He also had an unusual share of genius and we all looked forward to the books which he planned to write."

Expansion To The Rihani Museum

In January 2001, a new wing has been completed and added to the Rihani Museum in Freike, Lebanon. This marks the second expansion to the museum during the past 20 years.
As a result of this expansion, Rihani's bedroom has been relocated to the western side of the Museum following the enclosure of the old arcades of that section with glass. This new room now includes his bed, wardrobe, clothes, personal items, and his travel wardrobe bag that accompanied him on most of his trips crossing the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
Outside the museum, in the garden of Rihani's home, a collection of Arabic and English engravings have been added to a series of columns along one of the garden corridors. These excerpts have been chosen from Rihani's works and from writings by others regarding his achievements.
The new museum wing and the garden engravings were made available to visitors as of January 2001.
