This has been a great resource for my research. Thanks for keeping the site up and running.
Very helpful, full of useful information and a delight to read.
As a child, 10 years of age, my father used to teach us about much of the works of Mr. Amin Rihani. At present, I am 65 years old and still remember this great modern prophet of the 20th century. My father had a good personal contact with Mr. Amin Rihani, and I was glad to see this website about him.
My dream is to pay a visit to his grave site and to his museum, as soon as time permits, because a visit to his, because a visit to his grave, for me, is equal to a visit to the Hahh.
Good work, and nice web page!
Keep up the great work.
We will add your link.
God bless you!
Very good work!
This is a nice site.
Please keep me informed on new events.
There are not many available scholarships geared specifically for Arab-American students.
Thank you for the opportunity!
It is a great plesaure to see that the Lebanese community has someone to care enough to provide educational aid to many of its descendents.
Gran ddaughter and daughter of Lebaneses/Spanish, and very proud of it!
It is a pleasure to know that the Ameen Rihani Scholarship is open to those interested in encouraging their Lebanese and Arabic children to apply for aid in their education in the art of literature. Ameen Rihani's biography at this website is a great encouragement for our children to complete an education in college. Ameen Rihani proved that dedication to your goals and hard work makes them a reality.
God Bless Rihani for his love of the Lebanese culture and his leadership in what he believed through the writings in his books.
Thank you for this great informative and well organized site. Hope we can have such websites for all the great Lebanese minds, especially Mikhail Naimy. I'm doing a research concerning everything about him. Maybe someone can help me.
Keep up the good work!
It's nice to be here.

This website really helped me for a project for school but it would be helpful if you had more info on Arabian contributions to history.
Ameen Rihani believed that the American dream has nothing to do with geography or nationality, that it is more than just the American dream -- it is the Human Dream, the vindication of the hopes, tears and prayers of all good men. He realized that it is not enough to be just American patriots but, now, planetry patriots. He knew then that we no longer live in America but in the world, and that our world has had enough nationalists, chauvinists and jingoists and that it is desperately in need of world citizens and statesmen and patriots to match and master its problems.
Well, after I read Ameen Rihani's biography, I learned more and more about him. He seems to have been a wonderful and fascinating man. Your bookshop is great, and it is really interesting to read its contents. I just want to tell you congratualtions on a great accomplishment, and good luck! This is really a great site!
I am delighted with the news of yet another triumph for our dear Ameen.
I join in the celebration of these two recent events, which have brought us much joy and pride. Ameen Rihani is an icon of the modern world, and his memory lives on to give us strength, hope and perpetual inspiration for the good of this world.
I have just discovered this fascinating man - and as an active member of the H. G. Wells Society I am pleased to find a like mind with an internationalist outlook in the thought of Ameen Rihani. Your bookshop is excellent, and I urge you to pursue further translations and publications of Rihani's work as widely as possible, especially his essays and articles dealing with international peace and cooperation.
Congratulations on a great accomplishment, and good luck!
I hope that the bridge that Mr. Ameen Rihani tried to build between East and West be completed, otherwise we will never achieve peace in the Middle East!
I am so glad to know that there is a statue for the great author Ameen Rihani, but it would be great if our government was the first to make such a move.
But this is how it goes, right?
Minds are often neglected in their countries and honored outside..!!

Great web site and great books.
But I didnt know how to see the information of your website in Arabic.
Keep it up!
This is a very good site!
Good design too.
I am happy to see that there is some sort of representation and recognition of the bright people that make up the Arab world.
Wow! You have a great site!
The Ameen Rihani Organization has done a great job preserving and making the works of the great author available to the whole world.
Best wishes for continuous success.
I am so delighted to see this website dedicated to one of the many great Lebanese minds. Rihani, Gibran, Naime, and many others make me, the Lebanese emigrant in Australia, very proud of my Lebanese identity and revives in me the urge and eagerness to fulfill in my life the great Lebanese vocation of joining East and West of spreading tolerance and peace among the people of the world.
I surely hope this excellent website will be the first in many, honoring all the great Lebanese figures lying unrecognized by the new generations, in a time where such people are unfortunately almost extinct.
Long Live Lebanon in our hearts,
Long Live the Lebanese Vocation.
On the hope to see the new dawn of Lebanon shine again very soon.
It's a very interesting, informative and well organized site.
Well done for the symposium in Washington, D.C.
Very cool site. Congratulations!

Congratulations. A beautiful and informarmative site worthy of statue of Ameen Rihani.
Keep it up.
I would like to congratulate all the members of the Ameen Rihani Organization for providing an interactive and educative website. With the power of the internet increasing as a mode of communication, I would hope that other Lebanese organizations and committees would make more use of it to spread one of the richest resources of our countries: art, culture, literature and history. All our prominent figures deserve to be recognized and honored at home first and then internationally.
Keep up the good work.
The early Arab immigrants to America have made great contributions to the Arab litrature here and at home in the Arab world. Their efforts resulted in keeping the Arab language alive here and contributed to its advancement. Their efforts are forever appreciated. It is sad that we don't have such great literary figures today in the Mahjar, despite the increased number of immigrants and advancement in communication.
Amee n Rihani stood tall!
This is an excellent site and I sincerely hope that the rest of this world will take the time to gravitate to it; for it will be well worth your time, and with a little effort you will walk away a much better human being.
I love this page.
Keep up the good work!
I am so glad I got reconnected to the Rihanis again, thanks to AlHewar. I was a student under Ameen Rihani, Jr. in 1973-75 at IC and participated in Ramzi's play "PROVA" at AUB Theater in 1973-74. I have met May Rihani at least at one occasion if not two.. I am very impressed with the Rihanis style and educational backgrounds. I've also been to Al-Furaykeh, home of the Great Poet and writer...
Miss you all, wish I could've been at May's event in DC in late February... I'd Like to have the E-mail of Ameen & Ramzi so I can drop'em a word ? ... Please help. All "Z" Best to ALL the Rihanis always
Loved your page. I am trying to find some history of my roots.
I wrote an MA thesis on Ameen Rihani's The Book of Khalid and I regularly visit this site.
I am happy to see that all of Ameen Rihani's work (the great author) can be in public hands...
Wish you the best.
My name is Alain Ibrahim and I am also originally from Freike... Ghoussoub family descent. Freike is a very small village, few dozen of homes... not many people. I dont think you have even a mayor over there. They are pretty much involved in politics and cultural activities in this mountain area. Must be in the genes. I remember my grandfather... he got himself in a lot of trouble because of that. And the story continues... I never got the time to know Ameen Al Rihani better... or to perfect my english. It will come with time or maybe never. Anyway, I am proud of him and all of you. I am sitting right now in my office located in the Riyadh area and I am wondering what am I doing right here!
I have a lot of admiration from what i already know about Ameen. But as you see times have changed. The good old times have been gone in the Middle East region. I am sure that one day i will go back there... if it is the will of God.
I am so sorry for my English...
Thank you for remembering and honoring a great man. I am hoping that one day there will a site to celebrate all those who helped advance the Arab culture. I hope I will see a site for Albert Hourani soon. Best regards for a job well done.
Hello! It's an honor to know such a great person was from the same tiny town where I was born. I enjoyed tremendously reading about his work and life.
